Fakro’s centre-pivot roof windows are the most common choice of premium quality pitched rooflights and skylights, available with different internal finishes in natural pine (FTP-V P2) or white acrylic (FTW-V P2) finish and different sizes.

What are centre pivot roof windows?

Centre pivot pitched roof windows feature a sash that pivots in the centre of the opening, meaning the top half of the window opens into the room while the bottom half opens outwards.

Measuring & Installation Guide

Measurements shown on the website are width x length. It is important to leave a 10mm tolerance gap all the way around the window when measuring and installing. For example, if you order a 55x78cm window, the opening should be 57x80cm.

Flashing Kit:

The flashing kit required can be selected from the price drop down menu on this page. 4 different roof window flashing kits can be selected which are all also shown on the end of the image gallery in this page.
EZV-A: for Interlocking Tiles up to 45mm profile. Profiled roof coverings such as roof tiles or corrugated metal sheeting.
ELV: for Non Interlocking Slate up to 10mm thick. Flat roof coverings such as bitumen or slate.
EPV: for Plain Tiles up to 16mm thick. Plain tile roof coverings non interlocking (peg tiles)
EHN-A: for Interlocking tiles up to 90mm profile. High profile roof coverings such as roof tiles or corrugated metal sheets.

The Fakro Roof window can be used on roofs with pitches between 15-90º.

BBA Approved (02/3944).
Semi-automatic pressure ventilation V40P to prevent wind gusting. “topSafe” security and safety offering reinforced hinge and keep together with a steel slat to the lower part of the sash to achieve at least class III safety as per EN13049.
External aluminium colour reference RAL7022.
Acoustic rating 35Db (-1.-3) with glazing 1.1 U-Value and Window uValue : 1.3 W/m2K..
Internal finish 2 layers of white acrylic varnish on natural pine would frame with 2 lays of clear lacquer, depending on option selected.
Bottom placed handle with 2 micro opening positions.
External tempered glass, Warm TGI Spacer filled with inert Argon gas.
Internal glass laminated for extra safety.
This product is supplied with a 10 years manufacturers warranty

Warranty

The pitched Fakro roof window is supplied with a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty.

Delivery & Lead Time

2-3 working days for the manual opening version. Non opening (fixed) version lead time is 15-30 working days.
A restocking fee is charged for incorrect sizes by this skylight manufacturer, please ensure the correct size is ordered.

For the Fakro Centre Pivot Skylights at times sizes may be out of stock if we have received orders for large quantities from other customers. This usually only effects the least popular sizes 78 x 160 or 94 x 160. We will notify you of this once the order is placed or alternatively you can call us to confirm before processing the order.
